“Awake, arise or be for ever fall’n.” ― John Milton, Paradise Lost.
A self driven character concept inspired by the works of John Milton's Paradise Lost and Bram Stoker's Dracula. In this concept, demons (angels cast out of heaven for refusing to serve humans) live amongst the mortals they despise, devouring their blood to maintain their immortal lives and abilities. Belial is the exception amongst these demons, instead choosing to protect the humans they learned to value against their spiteful kin in the hopes of finding redemption.
