Revenant Soul

A design (linked to my original character Lucille Baudelaire and her universe) depicting the form of a revenant's (a ghost's) soul. These lost souls can be freed from their ghostly states through finally finding absolution or closure for the sins and woes of their past lives. Once freed, a soul is able to fly far away from the world of the living into the peaceful unknown. The concept was inspired by the various folklore myths and legends in which butterflies and moths are said to be souls of the deceased.
